Joint Appointment at Colorado School of Mines

I'm thrilled to announce I've received a joint appointment in the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (MME) Department at the Colorado School of Mines! I'm eager to collaborate with esteemed Mines faculty like Suveen Mathaudhu, Megan Holtz, Dave Diercks, Praveen Kumar, and Mike Kaufman to forge a robust regional partnership. Together, we'll tackle exciting challenges in advanced manufacturing, microelectronics, and energy production.

My focus will be on pioneering autonomous materials science and machine learning initiatives within MME. If you're a student passionate about these fields, I invite you to connect and explore potential mentorship opportunities. Let's innovate and shape the future of materials science together!

Some areas I’m interested in:

• Developing AI-guided high-resolution imaging and spectroscopy capabilities to understand functional materials lifecycles.  

• Establishing regional partnerships in autonomous science for the development of advanced functional materials.

• Mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in materials science and applied data science.
